I require a deposit for all bookings because of the room and transportation I pay for, the time I set off and the hours of preparation it takes to be mentally, physically and spatially ready for a session. 

Preparing for a session is a full time job on its own. When your deposit comes through, I immediately book a place to conduct the session. Then, I make a list of the necessary equipment to pack and prepare. Next, comes outfits and accessories, which could include a variety of garments such as leather, latex, lingerie, gloves, boots and stilettos. Some of these may need extra cleaning or preparation before they are ready to be worn. Next up, there is the physical preparation, which includes body peeling, wax, shaving, make-up, manicure, pedicure and hair. 

Upon arriving at the chosen location, I unpack, get my toys and tools ready for use and prepare myself and the space. 

I very rarely take a booking at a moment's notice. And I never take a booking without a deposit. I hope this blog post effectively illuminates the reasons why. 

On rare occasions I am already at a location and ready to receive a booking. For example, when I am on tour or when I’ve posted on X about specific incall availability. This does not mean I don’t need a deposit. In this unique case, I require the deposit to set off the time and get ready for your booking. This means I block out the time for you and prepare myself and all my equipment for our unique session. Once you’re booked in at a specific time, I won’t take any bookings for some time before and after our session. I block off at least an hour extra to prepare and clean my equipment, body and mind prior to and after playtime. 

I understand the doubt about sending money to someone you don’t know, what if they are a scammer? It’s a shame there are scammers out there preying on ignorant, innocent people and jeopardizing the business for the rest of us. However, they are easy to spot if you keep a few things in mind when searching for the sex worker who fits you and your interests best. It’s up to you to be diligent and do your research to verify the authenticity of the sex worker you’re about to book. Personal, authentic social media accounts over several years, profiles on a variety of directories, a professional website and blog and professional communication in the booking process will help with your discernment. My intention with this post is to be an eye-opener on the subject of why deposits are so essential to a Dominatrix’ business. Hopefully, I can inspire those of you in doubt to do the research, take the plunge and make the booking. In the right way, with a deposit.
